Aroview: A blackly comic account of the wordly departure of country-folk-rock pioneer Gram Parsons, who after perishing of a drug overdose, had his body 'stolen' by a friend (Knoxville) and burnt on a desert funeral pyre.
This low-key indie manages to cruise along smoothly enough, with Knoxville providing a non-manic and engaging centre to the plot's various degrees of drama, slapstick and loopiness. Ultimately unremarkable, but has a lingering likeability.
