Genius (TV Series) (2017)
Very good indeed, and probably quite accurate. Amazing how much irritation one gets to feel for a figure who has always shone like a bright star of genius.
Salamander (TV Series) (2013-2018)
- Really gripping series, satisfying plot and well acted. Realistic but not grungy. Tension kept tight throughout
DCI Banks (TV Series) (2010)- Good, realistic plots, well acted and not TOO gory! Most enjoyable.
Slings and Arrows (TV Series) (2003)
Excellent. The first episode is rather manic and confusing, but it just gets better and better. Good plot, wonderful performances.
Secret State (TV Mini-series) (2012)- Excellent plot (how one wishes it could actually happen), fine acting, very gripping.

- A really tantalising plot well–presented. Low–key but very clever and amusing
Dunera Boys, The (Mini-series) (1985)- On disc as a movie –– and truly great entertainment. Low–key comedy and pathos, whimsical humour and excellent performances. Really enjoyable and different.
Witnesses (TV Mini-series) (2016)- Excellent series! Plot complex enough to be interesting, but still clear. Actors develop their characters with fine detail. Fairly tense, with surprises
British, The (2012)
Actually well made and presented –– but really more suited to intermediate–age school students. No in–depth info; viewpoints of celebs, not academics.
Boss (TV Series) (2011)- Very powerful, good performances from all. Every time one starts feeling some empathy with him, there's another ugly twist.
