Into the West (TV Mini-series) (2005): This series is superb, the time & effort spent obtaining accuracy in costume, script, culture, history and character both real and fictional is truly admirable. The actors learning the Lakota language shows true dedication. Wonderful.
By the Sword Divided (TV Series) (1983): I enjoyed this study of English Civil war 1642–1649. It's a good way to brush up on your history. A drawback was that the battle scenes showed their age or lack of today's special effects. That didn't detract from the study of a family divided by war
