Aroview: An accomplished black comedy from Korea, which follows an unemployed lecturer's annoyance with the barking of neighbourhood dogs through to its extreme conclusion, as he attempts to eliminate the noisy canines.

Soon he comes into contact the like-minded - those who go on to stew up the dead pooches - and unsympathetic, who seek to protect the loved pets. Developed with a slow, deadpan pace and tinged with social satire throughout, this is a nicely judged little comedy, that marks a promising debut for its director. Dog-lovers should, obviously, beware though.
