Aroview: Two dubbed 'spaghetti epics' from the heyday of the early 1960s:
Gladiators 7 (1962) Directed by Pedro Lazaga - A Greek riff on THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN in which a freed fighter recruits pals to take on the tyrant of Sparta. Swift moving with great locales.
Giant of Marathon (1960) Directed by Jacques Tourner/Mario Bava - Steve Reeves plays a Greek soldier defending against the invading Persians. Extravagant, but flawed effort had to be completed by the cinematographer Bava, after the original director left.
