Aroview: Directed by a former stripper, this gritty, though at times amateurish delve into the lives of six American strippers delivers some real shocks, though only half-succeeds at stripping away the myths, motives and self-deceptions of those involved. Avoids the subject of drug-addiction, instead revealing an insular world of fading glamour, botched plastic surgery and ‘missing’ colleagues.
