5 stars (Exceptional) Mostly very good. Great cinematography and would have been masterpiece had the studio not cut the film by 40 min and let Welles finish it. The ending is not whar Welles envisaged, and kind of a let down ~emjay
3 stars (Good Enough) It never betters the opening scenes but the writing is pretty good throughout and the camera work is always interesting. ~Tubbs
