Reluctant Astronaut, The

Aroview: Don Knotts, best known as the comedic sidekick on the "Andy Griffiths Show", plays a goofy carnival ride operator who is hired as a janitor at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston and is eventually sent into space.

It's untimely release was just two days before the Apollo 1 fire that killed three astronauts.
