Witness for the Prosecution, The

Aroview: 2-part miniseries based on Agatha Christie's popular story. A wealthy heiress is found murdered and her principle heir is naturally the major suspect. His wife agrees to testify, but against him rather than in his defense. Thus marks the first of a number of supremely well-orchestrated twists, the final one having been retained from Christie's original story (it has been left out of earlier adaptations, including the Billy Wilder classic). Expertly cast with Kim Cattrall as the seductive widow and Toby Jones as the lawyer fallen on hard times post WWI.
