Aroview: A working class scam artist tries out for 'Big Brother' in this bustling, Fellini-esque satire of unrealised dreams from dir. Matteo Garrone (GOMORRAH).

The historic town of Naples is shown off to beautiful advantage through some handsome cinematography while the relationships (especially the central marital one) have heightenend authenticity that is distinctively Italian. Adding to the poignancy and irony of the film's themes, the immensely charismatic lead actor Aniello Arena is in fact serving a life sentence for a mafia murder in 1991 and was released from prison each day to play the role.
