Aroview: Stupendously entertaining hybrid of eccentric family comedy and technological dazzle, centred on the woes of a whiz kid who inadvertently sabotages the country's online computer network, to disastrous effects.
Fluid and frenetically paced adventure takes a familiar route to many sci-fi animes with its commentary on virtual worlds and society's dependence on the internet, however also manages to find the time to ground its spectacle in the amusement of the everyday, such as a slapstick teenage romance, and the pitfalls of ingratiating oneself to an extended Japanese family.
