Aroview: Deftly funny splatter comedy set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with - you guessed it - Zombies, has two drifters teaming up to find the last 'twinkie' (yes, the sweet confection) on earth.
Nerdy Eisenberg and cocky cowboy Harrelson strike a likable comic chemistry as the mismatched tag-team, with the former's obsessive-compulsiveness hilariously contrasting the latter's unrestrained blood-lust. Better-than-expected and proof pudding that making zombie movies isn't yet flogging a dead horse.

4 stars (Very Good) Zombies, gore, a varied cast (from Harrelson’s “don’t mess with me” craziness to Eisenberg’s geeky everyman), and slick visuals. Highlights include Harrelson’s zombie kill of the week moments and Eisenberg’s survival rules guide. ~Tom H
