Dream Team, The

Aroview: Four mental patients are taken by their psychiatrist to see a baseball game and end up lost in New York after he is knocked unconscious while witnessing a murder.

Predictably (or not so predictably, depending on your outlook) the four form a 'dream-team' therapy group to help rescue their poor psychiatrist, and learn to appreciate one another's weirdness along the way. Amiable 80s fluff.
