Little Traitor, The

Aroview: Coming-of-age drama about a spirited young Israeli boy and his unlikely friendship with a British sergeant in Palestine in 1947.

Despite an uneasy tendency to descend into schmaltz, Molina and Port do a good job in bringing their wavering loyalties into sharp focus, even if the overall themes are far too simplistic. Perhaps best appreciated by children.
