Resident Evil: Degeneration

Aroview: Passive animation adventure derived from the original video game series focusing on a couple of ex-special force agents tackling the outbreak of a deadly virus released by a rogue warrior seeking revenge.

The series’ live-action incarnations disregarded, this bases itself entirely in its popular video game roots, serving non-stop references to fans of the series. Visually uninspired, one feels this could have been lifted from a games console as opposed to a film studio, although it certainly remains faithful to the spirit of the series, with convoluted explanations of the zombie virus and awkwardly hilarious translation of its original Japanese language.
