Aroview: Adventurous Dennis Potter biopic of libertine Casanova, concerned chiefly with his imprisonment and escape from Venice, though not forgetting to shed light on his amorous encounters either. A complex flashback/forward structure distinguishes this from other versions of the red-blooded Italian’s memoirs.
