Aroview: A British-oriented spin on the kid super-agent premise, with gadgets and evil masterminds galore, based on the popular Alex Rider series of adventure novels.
After his hotshot, super-spy uncle (McGregor) is killed, Rider (Pettyfer) is brought under the wing of MI6 having been unknowingly trained his whole life for a career as an agent. His mission is to infiltrate the compound of an egotistical billionaire (Rourke), who plans to launch a computer system designed to murder millions of schoolchildren across the UK!
Adapted to film by author Horowitz himself, this is action from start to finish, with particular emphasis on martial arts sequences presented with a glossy sheen.

2 stars (Good Try) A 14-year old brought up by his uncle, after the death of his parents, discovers he's inherited the skills of an M16 agent - and must stop the an evil computer programmer from killing millions of schoolkids. Despite a good cast, a bit of a flop. ~GenXGirl
2 stars (Good Try) Aka "Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker". Pettyfer struggles with the acting side of his role but the film has some interesting cameos spread throughout which help to compensate. ~Tubbs
5 stars (Exceptional) ~Anon
