Topics: Period 1970s.

Aroview: A dramatisation of events surrounding the kidnapping and murder of Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro in 1978 by The Red Brigades, as seen through the eyes of a naive young woman helping to provide a cover of normalcy for the terrorists, who hide Moro in her apartment.

Although the kidnapping was bloodily successful (5 bodyguards were shot) when it becomes apparent that the government will not negotiate with the kidnappers, they undergo an extended period of self-questioning before the final cold-blooded act. Eschewing hard political analysis for a more atmospheric evocation of the disillusionment of the European Left in the 1970s, this makes for a thoughtful contribution to issues of the present day.
