Wallace and Gromit - The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Aroview: Triumphant big-screen leap for the amiably English claymation heroes - Wallace and Gromit - with this effort finding them running an 'Anti-Pesto' business which protects local vegetable plots from hungry rabbits.
However, as the day of the important Giant Vegetable Competition looms it becomes apparent that a gigantic marauding version of the rabbit species is nightly ravaging gardens in the neighbourhood. While tangling with the motives of the local aristocracy, W & G launch an all-out effort to neutralise the herbivorous threat. Impeccably animated with its sly, whimsical wit polished to a tee, this is perhaps the most successful effort yet from maestro Nick Park.

4 stars (Very Good) Ten years since his last short Wallace and Gromit release, Nick Park is back with a feature-length tale that will have you laughing while still admiring the adorable animation style. Witty and fun, this is another claymation masterpiece. ~Tom H
